Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge is sites to capture full advantage of the Albermarle County countryside and the Blue Ridge Mountains. This continuing care retirement community is comprised of 87 apartments, 40 cottages, a health care facility, and a main services building. A centrally located main building provides the residents and guests with a reception area and lobby, a main dining room, a lounge, an assembly room and meeting room, and a library. An administration suite, a health care clinic, a beauty shop, a snack bar, and a bank are next to the building. All of the buildings maintain a residential scale and character through the use of materials, detailing and forms familiar to the Charlottesville area.
