NDC+Medical Center is an ambulatory care facility for a multi-specialty group practice with over forty physicians. The facility includes ten patient care areas providing diagnostic space for internal medicine, hematology/oncology, dermatology, infectious disease, pulmonary medicine, urgent care and occupational medicine. Ancillary space includes cardiology, sigmoid, EDG and EMG special diagnostic areas and a chemotherapy treatment area. The clinic also houses clinical laboratories, specimen collection areas and diagnostic radiology, medical records, appointments/reception area and administrative offices. Shriver and Holland Associates prepared a functional assessment of the existing conditions, determination of future space requirements, assessment of ADA requirements, conceptual design for renovations and expansion, preparation of construction documents, assistance with selection of a general contractor, contract negotiations and construction administration.
