Pocahontas Elementary School is a new 92,687 SF elementary school (950-student capacity), which is organized in a one-story, L-shaped plan with two academic wings and a central area accommodating the main entrance, gymnatorium and cafeteria/kitchen. This area is separated from the two academic wings and is used by the community during off-school hours. The academic wings house grade level classrooms, teacher workrooms, a library, an administrative suite and restrooms. Each wing has a small courtyard at its center, bringing natural daylight into internal areas.
