This new elementary school meets Virginia State educational standards. There is a current enrollment of 750 students in grades K-5, with core facilities designed to expand for up to 900 students. Three academic wings provide for separation of grade levels with each wing supported by dedicated teacher workrooms and student restrooms. At the center of the three academic wings is a media center with vaulted ceilings and clerestory lighting that separates the teaching area from high-noise core facilities. The media center provides centralized technology distribution for voice, video and data. The school complex has 30 general classrooms, special education classrooms, an art lab, band and choral rehearsal rooms, a computer lab, a cafetorium/gymnasium, and administration and guidance offices.
