The existing Bruton Heights School (circa 1939) was renovated and expanded as part of a 23-acre educational complex comprised of the Bruton Heights Education Center, the John D. Rockefeller Library, and the DeWitt Wallace Collections and Conservational Building. The renovated Bruton Heights Educational Building provides state-of-the-art audio/video reproduction studios and photography laboratories which are equipped with darkrooms and archival storage. A renovated 250-seat multi-purpose auditorium has front and back visual projection abilities. Shared areas in the building required joint architectural input and coordination among the designers, owners and the users of the space.
